What inspires you as an artist?For me, art is a teacher of small lessons. In my work, I seek to share revelations about how to move through life with grace. I return again and again to the human form – most often the feminine body – not as ornament, but as anchor. These figures stand not just to be admired, but seen as a form of resilience.

Equally I am drawn to nature. I believe in ‘biophilia’ – the idea that nature, natural patterns, organic forms, and textures create a sense of calm. Just as nature has a restorative effect on our minds, I aim to create art that echoes nature’s calming rhythms and offers a sense of emotional relief, connection, and peace.
What does your work address?My practice explores the quiet force of inner poise: the way we carry ourselves shapes how we are met and how we experience the world around us.

Our posture is a form of communication – the body speaks before we do. The way we hold ourselves sets the tone for every interaction. When we inhabit ourselves fully, with openness and confidence, we signal readiness, receptivity, and self-regard. The world, in turn, mirrors that. But when the body folds inward – shoulders low, gaze downward – we begin to retreat, and the world feels just a little further away from ourselves.
What guides the creative process of your work?There’s a kind of wisdom embedded in the earth: in its textures, its movements, its resilience. I look closely at the grain of stone, the curves of hills, and the way waves shape the shore. These observations become the foundation for my sculptural language.

I believe we never stand alone – we are woven into the fabric of our surroundings. My studio is an extension of the outdoors. Stone, soil, and water become my collaborators. By placing these natural imprints in dialogue with the human body, I explore how the environment can ground, restore, and expand our inner world.
What do you hope the viewer takes away from your work?My art serves as an invitation towards noticing the enchantment of the natural world – forests, mountains, meadows, rivers, the ground beneath us, and the sky above. That kind of noticing, however, begins not just with our eyes, but with how we show up in the world – how we carry ourselves, how we move, how we inhabit our own presence. I hope my work invites you to move with confidence, to notice more deeply, and to feel more rooted in the places you move through.
